The Starter is the trusty editing package that’ll help get your book ready for the world to see. If you’ve already been through the developmental editing stage, or you’re feeling pretty confident about your book’s pacing, tone, narrative style, and structure, then The Starter is the way to go.

This package includes two essential editing services – developmental editing and line editing. With this package, your manuscript will undergo two comprehensive rounds of editing to ensure that every aspect of your book is polished and professional.

The Starter Package includes:

• Feedback Report: Once I’m done editing your book, I’ll send over a one-page summary that zeroes in on the most common writing mistakes I noticed during the editing process. This summary is really helpful because it’s packed with tips and tricks to help you improve your writing skills and avoid those pesky errors in the future. 
• A blurb: The blurb, also known as the “back cover description” is a quick and snappy summary of what your book is all about. A well-written blurb hits that sweet spot of giving just enough information to hook the reader and get them excited about your book. You can use it on the back cover of your book, as an ebook description, or on your website or social media pages to promote your masterpiece.
• E-mail support: I’m always here to help you out with any questions or concerns you may have about your book, the publishing industry, or if you simply want some feedback or advice. Shoot me an email anytime and I’ll get back to you ASAP!
• Phone support: If you prefer phone calls, let’s talk! Send me an email anytime and we will schedule a quick phone call to chat.

Timeframe

The Starter editing package includes two distinct services with two passes over your manuscript to ensure it’s polished and ready for publication. I carry out these services consecutively, starting with line editing and then copy editing. And of course, I take a day or two break between each service to ensure I’m delivering the absolute best results.

Once I’m done editing your manuscript, I’ll send it back to you, completely done and ready for immediate publication. My editing process typically takes 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the length of your manuscript and my availability. Please e-mail me to check current availability.
